Strange brow thing worth noting

So an interesting blog and picture worthy side effect of god knows what drugs have been in my body- I suspect this is still from the interferon- my eyebrows thinned out dramatically in a matter of three days. I had a bunch of strays the other day and they almost looked shabby, and when I waxed I thought I was being careful, but then I look in the mirror and half of one eyebrow is gone!!!

In almost six years of being the master shaper of my fabulous, trademark brow I must have been sooo not paying attention!
I was totally mad at myself, ugh, now I'm one of those weird girls with half an eyebrow.

The other one was still full, so I took out just a few choice hairs to make it not look so obvious.

Well this morning I am putting on my face and as I look close up to see my brows, I notice the right one was now bald on the ends too!!!

All that was left was a couple fine blonde hair hairs , my lucky hairs, I couldn't pluck those out, but shit, had to remove the bit of fuzz that was left at the end, and did what any good aesthetician would do- shape them even more and thin out the inner corners so it wouldn't look so disproportionate.

Now they will be easy to pencil, but you have to watch and make sure when you don't have a guide of hair to go on that they are the same shape. I've laughed at people- including myself who didn't pay attention using the brow pencil.
They end up in the BB (bad brow hall of fame.)

So here's my half bald brow, one of them, the other looks the same....

Bad pic, but as you can see, they are looking much thinner....

Whatever. I expected this to happen eventually, didn't know when but like I said, that's what brow pencils are for.

I'm just happy it's not the hair on my head.

I loved this post and needed to share my brow story. Brian and I were sitting by a beautiful outdoor fire this past Saturday night...sipping(I don't sip)on a glass of wine and enjoying the wonderful ambiance when Brian asked if I was O.K. We were sitting fairly close to the fire and he was concerned. He didn't want me to loose my remaining one and a half eyebrows!! Brian is so funny sometimes!
When I was young a century or so ago, I had a lot of wild brow and one day had some time on my hands with my mothers best tweezers...well it went bad from there!
I look forward to your visit in the summer so you can show me what I would look like with two full brows!
Take care!
