So I am not sure if I ever mentioned I live across the street from a big old graveyard, and I love it.
I run through it for a jog, go there to think, walk through it at night with Matt, even spent one New Years eve with a bottle of wine on the steps of the mausoleum drinking and kissing my fiancé of two weeks, smoking cigarettes and prancing around in the snow.
Last October I was feeling all Halloweenee, and had to go for a walk through the graveyard in the night.
I totally stumbled across these and thought I 'd share them with you.
I told Matt to take pictures, and how can a picture in a graveyard not be goth, and many were just fucking silly and probably embarrassing.
This is something that happens every once in a while, strange dark iPhone camera pictures in our beautiful neighbourhood Graveyard.
Maybe I'll make this a series.

last week bear and i were passing a graveyard on the way to wegman's and i just happened to turn my head and saw three full grown white-tail deer GALLOPING through the graves. like, how fucking cool is that???
i hate when people die, but graves have so many possibilities for creative expression. bear claims he wants to be cremated, put in a folgers can, and buried in an unmarked grave in the woods somewhere. which is hilarious since his dad works for one of the largest casket companies in north america. everything in this house is made of leftover casket wood, broken urns, etc. last week he brought home two weird urns that look like ice sculptures of a hand surrounded by clouds releasing a dove. they were discontinued and they're now garden decor. this is my life people.
ANYWHO... i love you.
